Writing for Wellbeing? I'm your practitioner...

Did you know I'm a writing for wellbeing practitioner, trained and mentored by the amazing people at Literature Wales?

My ethos?  Notice - Connect - Celebrate

My aim?  To help you improve and maintain good mental health and wellbeing so you can live your lives to the fullest, adopting strategies to help you move forwards.

I've opened up my diary for bookings and am ready to work with you to deliver bespoke writing for wellbeing sessions specific to you or your participants' needs.  The exploratory nature of putting pen (or pencil) to paper can be a very powerful tool in helping us unlock our past, understand our feelings and emotions, and provide a doorway into our futures.  There is growing knowledge and understanding that taking part in the arts as a means of improving our mental health and wellbeing has a positive impact.

I have worked with diverse groups of participants, including primary and secondary aged children in school settings, young adults in inner city community groups, and with adults online and in person.

I offer one to one or small group sessions, either online or in person, in safe, inclusive and nurturing spaces. With no judgement on spelling or grammar, and no pressure to share what you have written, there is never a wrong write.  I will support you with a variety of stimuli, for example objects, music or poetry, or anything else which you may be interested in.  Writing outdoors can be particularly transformative.  Or perhaps instead you will be inspired to follow your own creative path.

Whatever your needs, I am here to help.
